Harvey delivered an analysis concerning crime and crime related to homelessness at the City Council meeting on Aug. 14. A significant part of the rise is attributed to illegal drug usage, with Maxwell Park being the most impacted.
“The proportion of calls related to homelessness within our parks is rising,” Harvey informed the council during his presentation. “The issue of homelessness on the westside (of Anaheim), particularly in Maxwell Park, has experienced a notable surge. ”
